The word Kaitiaki means ‘guardian’ in Te Reo Māori. Here at Christopher & Robin Early Childhood Centre we see this as both the kaiako and children being the guardians of each other, our environment and the living world around us.

Our Kaitiaki room is a calm and nurturing purpose-built space that caters for tamariki from 3 months to 3 years. Our room encourages and inspires children’s curiosity and exploration at their own pace.

We have a highly qualified team with great teacher to child ratios. Each child has a key teacher that is responsible for meeting the key care need of their own small group of tamariki. Meet the team here.

We have a dedicated warm and peaceful space for tamariki to sleep and a safe, stimulating space for our under 1s.
