Veronica

Kia ora koutou, I am so lucky to be a kaiako at Christopher & Robin in the Kaitiaki rūma. I have worked in early childhood for 9 years. I love seeing our tamariki grow in their self confidence, mana, and social skills.

Tamariki bring who they are, and their knowledge from their whānau and tupuna with them and I love to learn about everything that makes them who they are.

Our tamariki and so precious and special, they are our taonga. Outside of work I love to play tennis and travel.

Toni

Kia ora,

My name is Toni and I am qualified kaiako with a Bachelor of Education (ECE specialisation). I grew up and studied in Auckland before realising my heart definitely belongs in the beautiful north. In my spare time, I enjoy getting out on the water (fishing or waterskiing), spending time with friends and whanau and going to the gym.

I have been passionate about working with young children since a young age. When I was old enough, I always adored being able to look after the children around me. Young children and childhood fascinated me, as everyday is seen as filled with potential - potential learning, playing, questioning and trying new things. I am passionate about supporting tamariki through the behavioural, physical, cognitive, social and emotional challenges that go hand-in-hand with childhood - not just as a teacher but a learner alongside them.

I feel privileged to be working with both you and your tamariki.

Jacqui

Kia Ora My name is Jacqui McMahon At the end of last year I moved from Hamilton to Whangarei for a new adventure with one of my closest friends and her 4 children. I have a dog named Indy she is 12 years old she is my cheeky and crazy furbaby. After working in the hospitality industry for 15+ years I decided that this was the perfect time to venture into something different. I grew up surrounded by lots of Whanau and friends which was forever expanding. I have always loved children and watching how they develop new skills and accomplishing their milestones. When I saw that Christopher and Robin was hiring new teachers, I knew instantly this mahi was exactly what I wanted to do. I bring with me my passion, nurturing heart and my love of children. I look forward to getting to know you and your amazing tamariki.
